At the end of my book, I include a list of organizations I have had personal experience with. All of these organizations have directly impacted my family in positive ways. I am including links to these organizations here, and encourage you to visit their sites to learn more about them. The first site listed is a memorial site for Lou, for those who wish to learn more about him.

  • The   Camp Better America team has put a plan into action that will provided our military families with the support, resources and tools they need to create, build and achieve their dreams in life. A portion of this book's proceeds will be donated to this organization.

  •   Snow Ball Express is the charity for the children of our fallen military heroes.

  •   Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivirs (T.A.P.S.) is the home of america's frontline resource for all who are grieving the death of a loved one Serving our country.

  •   Families of War Vets is an organization that was formed to provide a support system for the Mid-Hudson Valley families of military personnel killed while fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan and wounded military personnel and their families and to render whatever assistance they can to returning veterans needing help to support their families so that they may be able to make an easier transition to civilian life. It is their intention that they and their sacrifices are never forgotten.

  • The   American Fallen Soldiers Project was formed to help provide comfort and healing to the mourning families of our fallen military men and women. With the mission to honor, respect and forever memorialize those who have sacrificed their lives while protecting our freedom, their 501(c)3 non-profit organization makes available to the families, at no cost, an original portrait of their fallen loved one that fully captures their appearance and personality.

  • The   American Widow Project is a non-profit organization dedicated to the new generation of those who have lost the heroes of yesterday, today and tomorrow, with an emphasis on healing through sharing stories, tears and laughterMilitary Widow to Military Widow.

  • The   Got Your Back Network mission is to provide the children of our country's fallen soldiers the opportunity to intimately interact with our country's most talented leaders. Through diverse coordinated events, and one on one interactions with corporate executives, politicians, professional athletes, and entertainers, Got Your Back Network provides the avenue for the children of the fallen to learn and be inspired by the most successful leaders of our generation.

  • The   American Supports You Texas website promotes public awareness and support for our U.S. military service members and veterans, as well as their families. Remain pro active supporters of these men and women in the U.S. military, in our community, across Texas and the USA. They also provide Military Family Support, by assisting currently deployed military personnel and their families with financial assistance to meet the emergency needs that arise from deployments. They also host various family support activities, Welcome Home Rally's, and Return to Duty Rally's for our military soldiers. They also support and host patriotic events, parades on all military holidays; Armed Forces Day, Memorial Day, Flag Day, Independence Day & Veterans Day.
